Take Umm al-Fahm, one of Israel’s largest Arab cities, where turnout reached 75.7 percent, up from 38.3 percent in 2022, a rise of almost 40 points. Election night taught us all a healthy skepticism of polls, but most forecasts saw Arab turnout rising to the mid-60s. Even the Joint List’s own internal polling put it at 61 percent, and its stated target was 70.
funny thing here is both bibi and anti-bibi camps are calling fraud on the election results. the arabs have an inflated 20% of the knesset seats and basically make it impossible for any kind of unity government.
most likely result is a stalemate and new elections. and bibi will do even better.
it's kind of an operation chaos thing that the arabs ran. but they thought they would fuck bibi, and in the end they miscalculated.

You'll need to flesh this out a bit. Isn't a yahoo win to the detriment of the Arabs? If so, do you expect some kind of special vengeance they'll be subject to that they would have otherwise avoided?
Otherwise, paralyzing the government a bit and ratcheting up the backbiting and paranoia of the other factions against one another doesn't really seem to be a bad thing for Arabs
my point is that these arabs are stupid and miscalculated. they must thought that getting a shitton of arab votes would have fucked bibi and bolstered the anti-bibi camp. in the end, this helps bibi stay in power. it also has a secondary effect of uniting the zionist parties and realizing that arabs are a far worse menace than bibi.

So you're saying that the yahoo would have been voted out if Arab turnout was lower [and the victor would have been more friendly to Arabs]. But now they've tipped their hands to the Zionists and will be treated worse than ever with the yahoo back in control
One element of yours that I hope is true is Zionists "realizing that arabs are a far worse menace than bibi," because that paves the way for Israel to torch whatever remaining sympathy and clout it has. Those damn dirty arabs...why do they keep lowering Israeli support and standing!!!
not necessarily. i'm saying that there'd be more opportunities for some sort of government without bibi as the sole PM if the arabs had fewer seats. it's a math issue. you need 61/120. bibi wing is at 53 and anti-bibi wing is at 49. with 19 arab seats out of play, it's harder for either 53 or 49 to get to 61. prob still would have been a govt with bibi having the upper hand but anything is possible.
>But now they've tipped their hands to the Zionists and will be treated worse than ever with the yahoo back in control
no. there probably will be better policing of elections next time.
BREAKING: Israeli police have arrested 7 suspects, including 3 school principals, in a vote buying scheme involving Mansour Abbas’s Ra’am party.
Investigators uncovered cash, envelopes containing thousands of shekels, and election materials.
Voters were offered ₪200 to ₪300 per household in exchange for political support.
Separately, Israel’s Shin Bet is investigating intelligence suggesting tens of millions of shekels from Qatar may have been used to influence the election.
Likud is now seeking to overturn results at polling stations where alleged violations occurred.
