Worked out this AM, had a decent breakfast. Took first shot (0.25mg). Working from home today. Decided to make lunch - prepared tuna salad. Eating it felt weird - I only finished about half a can. No bread. Feel full without any desire to snack or anything. This stuff only really kicks in fully in a day or so, and you really need to increase doses to have the full effect. But many seem to report lower appetite within hours like I have. I may have the rest for dinner, and that may be it for the day.
Looking to lose about 50lbs in 4 months. I think that is doable as long as I keep up with cardio and weight lifting. Need to figure out how to get more protein though (will likely start shakes)

5'11". Have ranged from ~210 to as high as 285 in my adult life. Weighed in this AM at 249. I have a decent amount of muscle and a broad chest, but I obviously look much better closer to 200 lbs. If I get consistently below 200 (like to 185 or so, which is my stretch goal by year end), it will be a whole new era for me.
50lbs in four months is aggressive, but I have done something similar before.

Harsh diet and nobooze. About 10 years ago. I could in theory just do that again but age/metabolism make it harder, and I am not going to turn down the boost out of principle

Docs told me it was very important to keep up with exercise, and I agree - especially if I want to maintain muscle mass. I can currently bench 5x225, for example. I am going to try to keep to that as much as possible as I lose weight. Will probably be impossible, but I need to try in order to maintain muscle.
Keeping up with exercise as the GLPI-1 make you eat less is a way to accelerate the weight loss

I definitely expect to increase my protein intake percentage. I am guessing the drugs will make it easier. We will see. Stomach is rumbling a bit already

Well I haven’t been over 260 in years - been between 230 and say 260 the past five years. Was last around 210 in 2015. From my current weight, a 50lbs weight loss would mean a 2-4 inches off my waist and jacket size - basically a more compressed version of myself. I kind of balloon and deflate if that makes sense.

Being a fan of good food and good alcohol
I have worked out consistently since high school, so just a lot of calories. Some people like to eat. Also I carry weight pretty well, so people are always surprised when they hear the actual lbs
FWIW, at weights from 210 to 225 are when I actively get hit on by women, if that is any indicator

That’s a bodybuilding target. For maintenance in a significant caloric deficit, that’s probably going to be too much (especially if you can’t eat that much). I’m starting at 125-150 grams and going from there.
