And it's not like getting that degree means that 2yrs from now i'll get a 100k/yr job and 4yrs from now i can move to russia and work remotely as a web developer or something. i have much better chance of getting into med school and making that $300k/yr as a hospitalist and doing something like an online "concierge" dr on the side. B) If he took some classes or got the right WE before then maybe. He has zero background in IT. No one is training him ITE. |

Also, I wouldn't say CS doesn't care about prestige or degrees. That is really pushing it. Pre-ITE it was fairly easy to overcome the lack of a great degree but I question how easy it is to do now, when a ton of people have both knowledge and great degrees. |
