Beyond that, he's done here. I suspect that Hillary will take the Democratic nomination, and, if she does, she will win the general. If she is indicted and forced to drop out, things become murkier and harder to predict, but I could see a new middle-of-the-road establishment Democrat (Biden? Bloomberg?) jumping in at the last minute and, under such extreme circumstances, perhaps the party could coalesce around him. If it really is Bernie vs. Trump at the end of the day, then I see Bernie taking it. |
