I've seen random high schoolers do much better. It would be like a figure skater who can barely stand up on skates or a baseball player who throws like a girl and can't hit but Australia apparently shut down all investigation into her and called it "online bullying"

cr. she’s absolutely 180. like the Sokal hoax guy, or the fake sign language interpreter waving his arms around meaninglessly at Nelson Mandela’s funeral.
she went on the world stage and treated “break dancing” with precisely the amount of respect it deserves. and she’s cute too.
remember the African swimmer "Eric The Eel" who competed at the Sydney Olympics? he could barely make it to the end of the pool, but he got on the team because he was essentially the only person in his country who could swim

Raygun and her husband or partner or whatever the Aussies call him had control over the selection competition and simply banned better competitors from entry. not flame.

Legal issues
Raygun: The Musical, a theatre work about Gunn's contentious Olympics performance was scheduled to debut in Sydney on 7 December 2024. The show was cancelled after legal threats by Gunn's lawyers who claimed her name and kangaroo hop were intellectual property. Set to star in Raygun: The Musical, Sydney comedian Steph Broadbridge observed that the kangaroo dance was: "an Olympic-level dance. How would I possibly be able to do that without any formal breakdancing training?"[40] Gunn claimed to have been 'blindsided' after learning about the show through the media.[41] However, it was reported that the trademark application of the silhouette of her doing the kangaroo pose was submitted by her legal team on the same day of when the show was first promoted with the same image, on 25 September.[42][43] A trademark application for the name, 'Raygun', was stalled with an 'adverse report' issued by authorities in October 2024.[42] On 20 December, it was reported that Broadbridge would continue the musical as Breaking the Musical and Gunn stated that the issue had been resolved.[44][45]
