The assault is unexpectedly successful for the enemy. The clarity of actions and good interaction of parts of the RF Armed Forces leave no chance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and they, not expecting such a development of events, are quickly moving back.
This is facilitated by the fact that their units, which have just been transferred to this area, have not yet had time to familiarize themselves with the area where the database is being conducted and cannot establish normal contact with each other.
Towards evening, the enemy was forced out of the northeastern part of the city (one-story building), and we were able to enter the high-rise part of it, which puts the remaining Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the northern part of the city in a very awkward position.
The fact is that the city was not prepared for defense and did not have sufficient reserves of ammunition and equipment. And it becomes difficult for the enemy to supply this grouping due to the fact that all the bridges on the Volchaya River have either been destroyed by us or are under fire pressure.
If this continues, the enemy will not be able to hold out for long in the northern part. Moreover, today we can expect good news. |
