His story is another incredible piece of boomer history from a world that no longer exists. When he was 18, he hied to Europe for a few months with like $400 he'd made from delivering newspapers or whatever. He bought a railpass and traveled all around, taking notes on how he did it. When he got back to the US, he started teaching classes on how to get around Europe, and from there, his career was born. |
