Pros:
-It is never distracted
-It is hyperaware of its surroundings and will see things you don't
Cons:
-It does make mistakes. When making an unprotected left, it might start to go because it thinks it can beat the oncoming traffic, then hesitate or stop and leave you in an awkward (but not dangerous) position.
-I once had it scrape a wheel pretty badly while pulling into a driveway.
The auto Youtuber savagegeese said it's better than 70% of drivers, and I think that's accurate.

It's pretty amazing and works incredibly well. You have to take control if there are irregular traffic patterns and it does have occasional hiccups, but 99%+ it's faultless.
The only people who shit on it are either anti-Musk or anti-technology types. I don't think it's possible for an unbiased person to use it and not think it works very well.

I have both a Tesla and a Mach E GT so I can compare BlueCruise. BlueCruise is perfectly comparable on freeways that are mapped. The real difference is that only FSD can get you from point A to point B including city streets. I don't know of another product that can do that.
I'm also pissed at Elon/Tesla since they discontinued the Model S/X. I have no idea what to do when my Plaid gets outside of warranty in 2032.

You learn what it sucks at. I don't try to have it work parking lots generally. We have a 5 way that it treats as a regular stop sign so I just stop FSD before it hits it. If it is raining really hard I won't risk it.
My car has some cosmetic damage to it. FSD? Nah, wife.

I taught my wife how to drive. This is way better than that.

It's amazing and better than all humans some of the time and some humans all of the time.
Haters include retards who say "yeah but what about that video where a Tesla got stuck behind a parking cone?!?!?!" And MANLY bobbies birdshit with wraparound Oakleys who derive their self worth from driving their F350 Raptor or Bronco.
Every situation where people say "oh it can't really handle ___" (heavy rain, complicated busy intersections, crowded parking lots) are also situations where humans are also dogshit.
