Someone who announced that he planned to clerk for Posner and Kagan on FB before school started. Someone else started a schoolwide email chain that ended up on ATL. Big final exam conspiracy theories that were presented to the adminstration that made no sense on their face; stuff like that.
We got an email from a non-law dean today saying that they are receptive to student concerns about the Mizzou thing, but I haven't seen any protests or anything like that. There were demonstrations before the Michael Brown grand jury thing. |

Date: November 13th, 2015 12:07 AM Author: nubile grizzly locus gaming laptop Apparently a few of the 1Ls had been coached by a 2L beforehand on how to deal with a certain 1L subject professor. Fine.
Thing is, that professor(tenure) happened to use the exact same exam as last year. So when the 1Ls talked to the 2L after the fact, they figured this out. Somehow that turned into allegations that the 1L--before knowing any of these 2Ls or that next year's exam would be word-for-word the same--had taken screenshots of the exam with his phone when he took it and given them to the 2Ls. School had to do a whole CYA statistical analysis to demonstrate that the people who knew that 2L didn't perform significantly better than those who didn't. Shitshow. |
