Aren't most of these really in 1080 even if they say 4k? I recently watched an autistic breakdown of the fraud and lies perpetrated on the public in this regard.

Idk i haven't got too into the weeds on it but some look way better than others. Like space odyssey and lawrence of arabia look absolutely incredible like you're really there somehow. But it all looks better than streaming and I can watch these when they finally take the internet offline for good

I watched alien like 20 years ago and didn't like it but I'm giving it another shot I think it will be better in 4k on a big screen, and I surprisingly liked that recent alien film with calie spaeny's big dump truck ass

I rewatched it again like 6 months ago and I just find it fundamentally dull and not particularly scary

the production design is great, the acting is good, it's cool...it just doesn't work for me

Watched Barry Lyndon 3.5 stars - a little too long and I didn't really like the natural lighting. But also a very influential Film I think it inspired PTA (There Will Be Blood kinda rips it off) and also that Lanthimos movie The Favourite

jodorowsky seems like a sick weirdo I don't think that's my bag, I mostly hate latino directors, they're like redditors, dumb people who think they're smart be ause they're surrounded by people even dumber

And woody allen is a kike nonce iirc so not in a hurry to check his stuff out
