Date: March 26th, 2025 11:24 AM Author: Judas Jones Every pro's swing is miles better than mine, but I would probably be closest to someone like Matt Fitzpatrick with more of a flatter inside takeaway, slight over the top move at the start of the downswing.
I do try to get more of a finau feel on wedges and short irons though, keeping the hands low setting the wrist early and trying to keep the head more outside. |

Fitzpatrick looks closer to Hovland than Finau or in between them imo

Hovland moves the club much more vertically going back, more side bend, less lower body movement, and has an even more pronounced OTT handpath and cuts everything. Reminds me a bit of DJ with the shaft super vertical, extremely bowed wrist, tons of side bend, playing a left to right shot shape.
