go here and plug in $2.3m as your starting number and count backwards 15 years, using any year as the starting point. if you go backwards from this year, i'd have $16m.
there are some time periods when the annualized return is much lower - like if you started in 1999 or 2007 the bear markets hobble the returns, but assuming something crazy you're looking at something in the neighborhood of what i said above.
it's possible we have an event like that soon, but i think "they" are going to prop up the stock market continually. we will see, i guess. |
