Date: October 2nd, 2026 11:33 PM Author: self-absorbed library philosopher-king physically im not bad but i guess its because i am completely 100% socially isolated and all my coworkers are legit middle age. dunno how tf that happened (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5909175&forum_id=2#50168189) |

Date: October 2nd, 2026 11:35 PM Author: ferengi that puts you way ahead of most poasters, whose bodies have been breaking down since their 30s and who are convinced that that's normal aging when they actually just don't take care of themselves lol
yeah that'd do it for sure. why 100% isolated? do you have friends in your city that you stopped hanging out with or did you never have people there? |
|
Date: October 2nd, 2026 11:36 PM Author: self-absorbed library philosopher-king i stopped having friends around 2012 when i moved back to hometown major metro and then got really weird and solitary and religious (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5909175&forum_id=2#50168197) |

Date: October 2nd, 2026 11:43 PM Author: ferengi ooo makes sense. based on the Hinge thread it sounds like you're trying to meet people now? you seem 180 tbh and like you're self-aware about your eccentricities. i def encourage you to get out there and meet people our age, whether for romantic purposes or just to hang out. people say it's hard to meet people in your 30s but i make new friends all the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and many of them i made literally going to bars or events alone. you just have to listen to your gut about places (and individuals), but especially in a metropolitan area i'm sure you can find your people with some trial and error (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5909175&forum_id=2#50168218) |
