speculative, but i'd put the odds that Obama either overtly or tacitly passed himself off as foreign-born at 98%. it would have been a huge advantage as he moved from Oxy to Columbia. much better than "i'm half-white, culturally white, and was raised by my white relatives." we also know that Obama did the facade changing thing when he moved to Chicago to LARP as a bible-going descendant of US slaves. |
