My girlfriend and I have been seeing each other for a few months and we just became official.

I matched with her on a dating app and we talked online for a long time before our first date, regularly video-chatting and constantly texting. I honestly think I fell for her before we even met in person.

The only problem is... I lied about how tall I was in my dating-app profile, which led her to believe that we were the same height. The truth is I added about three inches to the true figure to give myself a better shot with the ladies.

Luckily, by the time we met, my now girlfriend already liked me enough to overlook the fact she's taller than me.

But her brother is getting married next month and she's now asked me to wear something crazy to the wedding.

It will be my first time meeting her family and many of her friends and I think she's embarrassed by my smaller stature.

She suggested that, since she'll be wearing heels to the wedding, I should also wear a platform shoe to give me a boost so that our height difference isn't quite so pronounced.
