the Russian Collusion theory was created by HRC's campaign, using the Steele Dossier, and even though Brennan, Obama, Yates, Rice, et al., knew it was Hillary's lie they allowed the DOJ/FBI to pursue it as if it were real. the theory was that Trump cut a deal with Putin or with a Putin cut-out and that Trump was therefore under the control of Putin. (omg, Michael Cohen was traced to a cell-phone tower and phonecall in Prague!!! he was making the deal with the Russians!!! we got them cold!!!)

rabidly anti-Trump people within DOJ/FBI pursued it using all sorts of dirty tricks, leaks, and even criminally fraudulent FISA applications. the allegations dogged the Trump presidency and was used by MSM to poison the minds of low-info voters. (although, interestingly, early on Van Jones was caught on video telling a person on the street that the Russian Collusion thing was a 'nothing burger.')

Mueller was appointed to effectively keep a lid on the real story and to kill time during the Trump presidency. Weissman and others on the team, aware there was no collusion, were hoping that Trump would lash out and that he could then be charged with obstruction. that didn't happen. (read Weissman's book or the Neal Katyal op-ed to see how libs wanted to use the investigation to take down Trump even though there was no collusion at all.)

so when it came time for Mueller to make his big report and testify the libs were besides themselves, filling bars to watch as if they were Argentinians gathering to watch the World Cup final. and, predictably, there was nothing to watch. libs were baffled and stunned. but the whole job of Mueller's team was to keep a lid on the Obama scheme and to provoke Trump. there was no Collusion and no evidence of it. ever. not a single witness provided any evidence, circumstantial or otherwise in support of the theory.

as an aside, only two members of Congress, Nunes and Schiff, were allowed to see the mostly highly classified docs. Nunes ran to the press and said the Collusion Theory is fraud. Schiff ran to the press and repeatedly claimed there was clear evidence. we know who was lying.

in light of the total fabrication of the Russian Collusion theory, a few die hards retreated to the "Manafort shared polling data!" theory. note that Mueller himself and his team of true believer never pursued that, never called anyone to the grand jury on that, never charged anyone with that.

the theory, which is a laughable sleight of hand move, is that Manafort briefly spoke to Russians and bragged about how well the Trump campaign was doing and showed them some of the internal polling. all of which was true. but that is perfectly legal, normal, standard operating procedure for all campaigns. (Kamala's folks: look at how well the blue wall is holding!) which is why Mueller ignored the theory. so now when the topic of Russian Collusion is raised, a few die hards trot out this canard. this guy up above and Adam Schiff being the most obvious examples. doing so just underscores how corrupt the real Russian Collusion hoax was.

I am sufficiently honest to admit that this is merely circumstantial evidence—albeit direct evidence nonetheless—of any actual collusion. To have actual collusion you would need to prove that the Russians used the data to target their influence operation and that the intent of Manafort in sharing it was to improve their influence operation. I know you aren’t honest and so you won’t admit this, but fixating on that specific aspect of Manafort’s admitted actions when he was interacting with Russian Intelligence is missing the forest for a few leaves on one tree. It’s undeniably true and reasonable that Manafort should carry a default presumption of collaborating with Russians and working to advance Russian interests because that was his entire career for 2+ decades. So go fuck yourself and all the crocodile tears you dumb faggots shed about how this was so unfair and undermining to Trump. If Trump didn’t want intense scrutiny and interference from US intelligence services in his campaign operations, then he shouldn’t have hired a fucking self-admitted Russian Intelligence collaborator and asset and proud traitor to be his campaign manager.
