if what you're saying is true (marriage causally makes a person more con), we would expect to see a greater number of men becoming more conservative after marriage than they were before marriage, compared to the other way around. i have seen this...never, not a single time in my entire life. they only ever get more lib. i don't think there is any way that this is true
