Personal I'm 5'3" and a size 24 in bottoms and a 20 in tops generally speaking. I have always been naturally fat to varying degrees but I suffered from a restrictive eating disorder for a few years when I was in my twenties which took a massive toll on my health at the time. I now totally accept the fact that I'm naturally fat and am not meant to have a lean body type.
However, I still want to eat nutritious things and exercise on a regular basis like for my cholesterol, blood pressure, stress levels, etc. I always struggle internally with this because no one will "believe" I live a healthy lifestyle because I am visibly fat. Everyone will assume I'm lying lol. Ultimately I know it's my life and I'm the one who has to approve of my choices, not anyone else! Does anyone else struggle with these types of thoughts?
Btw, I wish to clarify: I'm not saying I would necessarily be upset if I were to lose weight, I'm just saying it's unlikely to happen due to the chronic conditions I have which cause obesity.

Let's say they just totally ignored its elimination in the house and let it pee and poop wherever it wants. Assuming this behavior was totally ignored, what would the outcome be? Would the dog continue this pattern of free elimination for the rest of its life or would it naturally learn to take itself outside to do that? Or at least start favoring certain areas of the house, rather than behaving like an infant in diapers?

I'm going through a divorce (before this happened I was mostly dependent on my husband's income, but I don't have that anymore). I have a whole bunch of chronic conditions that I manage to the best of my ability, but the symptoms are still life-altering. I have plenty of days where I just feel so sick I can't even get out of bed. I have been fired from most of the jobs I've held due to being unable to keep up with their demands, despite doing my absolute best work. I have a huge problem with being able to concentrate and also with staying awake during work. Disability is basically out of the question (there's virtually no chance I would win) and I hate having to ask family members for help. Is anyone in a similar boat here? What do you do to get by in life? |

46 points 2 months ago If you walk 30 min a day, you should generally be able to mitigate most of the comorbidity associated with a sedentary lifestyle. If you notice your cholesterol and triglycerides are weird, make sure to get your TSH and free t1-4 levels checked. Hypothyroidism and hashimotos can often manifest as weird labs.

You're correct that I have really bad hashimoto's and resulting hypothyroidism! I was diagnosed 10 years ago. Also PCOS.
