Date: December 25th, 2024 12:22 PM Author: .,.,,.,..,,..,..,..,....,,,..,. my only experience with the nightlife was when I went with my friend in May, and it was super fun!! we checked out a bunch of bars and clubs, did some coke with my sister's BIL. but omg some of the places we went to downtown had INSANE covers... we went to one that was $120. there was another place that was at capacity and had a huge line but you could skip it for like $500 or some shit (we did NOT do that)... wtf. we also went to like an after-hours secret club downstairs from some Middle Eastern restaurant... felt super cool
when we hung out in North Beach and even South Beach, there were no covers and it was a lot more laid-back ☺️ and people were really friendly!! the Miami-proper clubbing lifestyle would NOT be sustainable for me |

If I were still in my party phase of life I'd probably get really into it. $500 to cut the line 180 business model lol. Those are insane covers but I guess plenty of people have the cash. Nothing like that in LA I've ever heard of.
I'm happy where I am now but will have to check out Miami some day. I'm in a better place for settling down. Fun fact if I'm not mistaken Hotel California was written in Miami. The Eagles lived there and were doing a metric ton of blow. Big, if true! |

I have never been a club person nor understood the appeal of loud music, dancing, and no verbal communication. I think you and I are similar in that regard we're both wordcels.
Idk if I ever told you this story but I once went on a few dates with this spoiled blonde from Palos Verdes and she was really into clubbing all night. I was miserable. Just really not my scene. And everywhere we went she would complain about the DJ. I eventually ditched her at a house party in Echo Park which was pretty hilarious and met some much cooler people that night. |
