The only hope--and it's a small one--is that shit gets so bad so quickly that we actually fight it out in a winner-take-all duel. Those of us who genuinely want limited government and liberty are pretty much fucked in that scenario, because the majority on each "side" just want their own brand of authoritarianism. But having that fight and seeing what wins out is still better than whatever this longer game is that we're going through |
