What type of film do you actually want to go see?
Sifting through a few scripts sent to me recently.
Horror - with a pyromani-demonic killer reemerged after 20 years - Kate Beckinsale type tries to stop him once and for all.
Modern Vampire Hommidy - think 40% Sean of the Dead, couple finds out their landlords are actually vampires, and they live in a neighbourhood where they can’t tell who is or isn’t a vamp b/c England and its ppl suck so much.
…there are others

I have no idea where the nearest theater is and no clue what might be playing.
I haven’t been to a theater in over a decade and don’t have fond memories of the experience.
I will probably never movie-go again in my lifetime.
I hate houses with dedicated “media rooms.” I think it is one of the trashiest fads in interior design from the last 50 years.

I've always had zero interest in horror films. I feel like if you don't watch a bunch as a kid they never "take" or something along those lines
More generally though it's either a) movies that are largely about the spectacle (e.g. Dune), or b) will have great attention to sound detail (eg something like Lynch movies)

Traveling for work, an evening to kill, something significant the next day where I don’t want to risk any semblance of a hangover, in a nice part of town near a movie tavern thing where I can have some food and a beer, and they’re showing something I actually have an interest in watching.
