Duration: 70 days = 1,680 hours

Desired Cut: 49.6lbs x 3,500 = 173,600 kcal

Daily burn (MBR + Cardio + Weight Lifting): Average 4,000 kcal per day; 280,000kcal per period

280,000 - 173,600 = 106,400kcal for refeeding

106,400/16 meals (eating shout once every 4.5 days) gives us a per meal caloric allotment of 6,650.

Now, there’s going to be some inefficiency and you can’t actually eat 6,650, so let’s say you just aim for 2,000 kcal on your 16 refeeds. This should give you ample cushion to stay on track even if you miss a cardio day for some reason (don’t) or miscalculate and scarf down 1,500kcal of cashews before you realize what you’re doing (bros, it’s happened before and could happen again).

~90lbs overweight. Goal for this 10-week period is to lose just under 50 of that. This would leave me about 40-45 pounds overweight.

This is an excellent point. Let’s assume that on my 54 fasting days (70 total less the 16 I am eating on), I need to actually burn 4400 kcal instead of the 4000 to cover any thermic effect of food (TEF) that is otherwise included in my BMR calculations. Great point and thank you because that slip up could have derailed the entire program.

happy to help. Note that you may also want to consider your macro intake since protein has a much higher TER than carbs or fat.

good luck on your fitness & health journey & don't neglect strength training or you will look weird.

I already look quite weird. That cannot be avoided.

I am following a strength program as well, however, to look the best that I can. I think that actually after I complete this program--assuming that I am successful--I will really have some questions for the board's physique MFEs on how to proceed with the final phase of weight loss. I worry everyday about things like looking like a twig in the arms and chest but being covered with loose, saggy skin and still appearing to have a sizable belly (relative to my other parts) that fits weird under shirts and such.

the answer is probably some combination of t + surgery + strength training + GH, fwiw. and maintenance diet ofc. but cross the bridge when you come to it.
