A certain percentage is working hard in manual labor through shady subcontractors - not cheap or less expensive than domestic labor, it's just that Hispanics have earned a near monopoly on construction and agricultural labor. There are a lot of layers to this and they really aren't cheaper, they just are smart and cornered the market.
Another large percentage are sitting, doing nothing, happy to live on public assistance programs, getting their kids cared for in public school and their medical needs met by hospitals and Medicaid.
