As you will recall, Republicans obstructed the passing of a new funding bill until April of 2024. These same Republicans are now, falsely, claiming that the US has been very generous to Ukraine and has spent FAR MORE than our European allies.
These claims are not true in dollar amounts and certainly not true as a percentage of gdp. |

it also compares US military aid to EU figures that include spending on teaching schoolchildren about the 57 genders.
