Going through some serious serious financial woes right now need advice

We were always living like we made an extra $100k when we didn’t. That was because of her to be honest. I was always ok with a Honda Accord but she needed a Range Rover because “I MAKE $300k!”
Now we’re fucked. We just had a baby and she’s not working. Our savings is shit and our non real estate debt is higher than our savings.
We have $300k a year coming in and we’re still living like we make $700k. She spends like an idiot. The last week she bought a Peleton and a $2k jacket because “well what I’m saving on child care...I’m I deserve it!”
She doesn’t get that we are completely fucked if we keep going this route.
Divorce is not an option. Her working is not an option. We have about $70k equity in a million dollar house. We’re fucked. No way about it. |

You should seek to build the equity in your home to $200k as well and maybe refinance to get rid of private mortgage insurance and get a lower rate. PMI isn’t required after 20% equity.
Also stop spending like a degenerate and tell your wife that as well. You basically need to reality check this chick quick and get your house in order before you start sending the kid to school which is likely gonna be huge money drain given your consumption habits. |
