In a vacuum, maybe. But 2016 was a different landscape with a much less well informed voter base. Claims of "socialism" from both Trump and the neoliberals within the Dem party would've caused a lot of trouble for Sanders' prospects and perception within the public eye Voters see the world differently now and the range of thought available to the average voter is much wider and less full of red flag scare terms than it was before |
