You know, I love how at the start of this clip, Stephen straightens himself out and drops his cane, revealing his true self. It confirms what we've noticed about him up to this point: that even though he's been presenting himself as this weak older guy who had Calvin's ear and was able to play mind tricks on everyone, this is the moment where we see him without the act and as his true, able-bodied self. When it's just him and Django in the room, he drops his cane and literally drops the act he's been presenting to everyone. At least until Django blows his knees off, showing him dropping the cane was pointless anyway.

Steven acted bad because he thought Django was out of ammo , the lighting was bad though when Django pulled out two guns , they really shoulda retook that scene to make Steven's eyes light up better in surprise , the saddest part was the Swede getting killed
