It was just a wonderful idea antagonizing China just as we decided to go all in against Russia, all while clamping down on unvaxxed people in the military! And all while sending like $100 billion (which, we don't have so it's printed) to a place most Americans can't find on the map (and know it as the corrupt shithole the POTUS's kid got some sketchy job) while there's massive inflation and a looming depression. Glad the adults are back in charge!

It's pretty remarkable. One of 2 things are true.
1. Americans are just so arrogant they honestly believe that they can do everything at once and still win. They don't need to worry about the fundamentals. They can send printed dollars to Ukraine, run inflation, piss off China, and ultimately, it will all just work out fine and end with the US running the world because we're just so fucking awesome. Biden is tall and smiles like a dumbfuck all the time because THAT is what we're all about.
2. This is being done on purpose. This is just part of a broader "Great Reset" and for that to happen you can't have an America that enjoys the traditional QOL. To really wreck that you need a perfect storm. Losing one or more wars is a necessary part of that. The pieces for that are falling into place. The US will keep sending shit to Ukraine that will get blown up. This will go on for years. At the end, Russia wins but is there peace? Not at all. Taiwan finally heats up. And Biden's promise to defend Taiwan turns out to be true. Except the US military is short on weapons and people. So it becomes a disaster, and Russia, obligated to repay China, fights for them too. Not only being a disaster for the US, it is a true catastrophe for Japan, destroying QOL there as well.

The 2 separatist republics and enough of Kherson oblast to keep water flowing to Crimea. They might also want to take the rest of Ukraine's water access, and Kharkov since it's close to Russia

Ukrainians are dying somewhere between 1:3 and 1:4. Even when Russians were doing their best, on the Donbas front, killing 100 ukies a day, they had only managed to achieve casualty parity. A week ago, Russians were losing 400/day with minimal losses by Ukraine.

Source? Seems highly unlikely given that even Ukraine's propaganda numbers for Russian casualties are much lower than the leaked number of Ukrainian casualties

Because not enough people there. Ukraine was able to accumulate an 8:1 advantage on the Kharkov front. Apparently, that loss was necessary to convince Russian leadership they needed to mobilize.

That wasn't a casualty figure, that the ratio of forces in a given area. They actually lost something like 10:1 vs. Russia because Russia continued air and artillery support to cover retreating forces. However, they still won because they could afford to take those losses (and even at a 10:1 figure, the reality is that losses just weren't that high for Russia so 10x that was still acceptable for the AFU).

Ukraine was at a manpower disadvantage on the Kharkiv front. They were able to create localized manpower advantages by massing firepower on small AOs and the Russians were to disorganized to maneuver.

They are probably sending shit like footwear, uniforms, etc. Of course this is also an opportunity for them to field test their kit, if they really have any.

I recently listened to Alexander Dugin, the political philosopher who influences Putin and Russian ideology.
I gained a whole new perspective on this war and the driving forces behind it. It's not just about the US and Western Europe, NATO, vs Russia. It's about Atlanticism and Liberalism altogether. It's about globalists seeking the flattening of the world under a single globalist liberal ideology. The western powers have become dominated by the globalists and are thus just tools for the globalist agenda.
More autocratic nations that prefer state control (China and Russia) instead of the more open globalist playground of western nations and their allies stand in the way. The old world order dominated by the US and its allies, US dollar hegemony and the Bretton Woods system faces insurmountable global imbalances. A Great Reset is inevitable. Ukraine is just the start of a much bigger struggle between the various poles of influence and who gets to define the NEW WORLD ORDER.
It kind of sucks because all the various powers are shit and seek some form of technocratic police state, whether it be a multipolar, regionalized order, or a singular order dominated by globalists and multinational elites. Alternatively, the peoples of all nations rise up and overthrows their evil masters who seek to enslave and poison them. This can only happen with a deeper spiritual underpinning that unites all men under a common cause greater than themselves.

Yes. He spent years in a monastery. He also is friends with the Patriarch of Moscow. He holds an annual dinner honoring every family that has 7 children or more, and he personally attends and gives a lengthy speech.
This behavior is UNTHINKABLE for any western leader.

The amount of Americans with zero connection to eastern europe eating this russian prop out of the gutter is staggering. They are treating this like a lib/con game. Its just fucking depressing.

To be fair,
IDK, but does this reasoning also apply to Ukraine soliciting and accepting endless handouts from a ton of Western countries (both money and armaments), or naw that's like totally different for reasons? Is it only pathetic and a sign of weakness when Russia accepts aid from its allies?
Before you answer, try to remember that Ukraine has the single largest standing military in Europe and the 7th largest population in Europe with which to field back-up troops. It's also the largest country in Europe by landmass by a very wide margin. I know the West likes to paint this as a total David vs. Goliath situation ("Ukraine is basically Lithuanian, this is just pathetic!") in order to make Russia look like it can't fight its way out of a paper bag, but if you turn off CNN and actually look at some statistics and a map, Ukraine is pretty much the biggest guy on the block in Europe, militarily speaking, and on top of that they're being backed to the hilt by most of the richest and best armed countries in the world.

Well it's no

"shaky video of a bunch of dirt and grass and some off camera gunfire poasted to Ukraine twitter that shows that this time, Russia really is done here as 10,000 troops are captured."
