HLS OCI Discussion

Date: July 3rd, 2009 8:28 AM Author: fishy pervert plaza HHHHHHHPPP. Not sure what cities I'm going to bid on -- stuck between NYC, DC, Boston, and Chicago.
Difficult thing about Boston Chicago is that I'd really only want to work for a couple of firms -- Ropes/Wilmer or Sidley/Kirkland. DC and NYC have more places I'd like to work. . . I'm thinking about bidding three cities.
What is TCR w/r/t strategy -- do people typically rank firms in the order they want (i.e. W&C 1, Covington 2, etc. for DC, or are we supposed to sprinkle safeties in our top bids? |

i'm in a similar position as you w/r/t grades--do you think it even makes sense to bid on, say w&c? i mean, we're probably top 1/3 at best. in any case, i think i'm going to put some safeties and targets in my top bids, just to be safe. |
