the derb is an excellent writer, but his mind is calcified and he is stuck in a conservative rut...
he gets it right about why the DC bureaucrats in the military industrial complex hate russia---iron rice bowls.
But he never even tries to figure out why the media hates russia, too.
this tunnel vision of his goes back to his success as a writer on the Right. For so many decades the grassroots right would not criticize the corporations. This comes from the genesis of the right--it was basically born in opposition to communism. ...so it is taboo to criticize corporations...that is a major plank of conservatism. That plank may be rotting however, as it is becoming plain to at least some whites that mass immigration and anti-white multiculturalism are there to push up corporate profits.
What is derb is missing is that it is not only the military industrial bureaucrats and contractors who have iron rice bowls...the media also has iron rice bowls...what he cannot see is that the media is funded by CORPORATE PROFITS...less profits==> less rice in the media rice bowl...and hating on russia makes more rice in the military industrial complex rice bowl...and some of that MIC rice goes into the media rice bowl because those corporations that get some rice from hating on russia also spend some of the money on ad buys in the media for their CONSUMER PRODUCTS they sell...the MIC corporations have their fingers in every pie these days...
derb is a good writer but not a good thinker...follow the money, derb...it's just that simple...but being an old school writer for conservatives, he is blind to how capitalism can be bad... |
