this is why (i suspect) hillary voted to invade iraq. for her, there was no "vision" involved; it was just a straightforward political calculation weighing X vs. Y. and she picked X. there was never a chance she could be swayed over to Y by something like an abstract argument about the PROPRIETY of X; that's simply outside the framework of the striver's mind. |
