i also passed on the chance to see johnny cash at the 930 club in 1996. maybe the worst decision i ever made. i liked him at the time, too, so i don't have a valid excuse for not going. |

Date: September 25th, 2026 6:06 PM Author: Titillating orchestra pit that sucks man, for real. you wanna hear something 180 tho? i saw poison and slaughter in lubbock, tx in march 1991. the gulf war had just broken out and i remember slaughter's singer kept saying "GO USA, FUCK SADDAM HUSSEIN YEEEEEEEAH" between songs in his high pitched buttrock voice. actually, nothing about that was 180.
funny thing is that within a year of that concert, poison's career was effectively finished. as we all know, the smells like teen spirit video dropped in the late summer/early fall of 1991 and that was a wrap for hair metal. |
