I was dx on February 12, 2018, when the doctor told me I was just numb and upset. I was super mad, that night I thought about it constantly could barely sleep and then when I did I had a nightmare and woke crying and wailing until my husband calmed me down. My hubby was tested and he is negative..So I got this when he and I separated in 2013 (wow) if I could redo that moment over... During these last 2 weeks I've been on an emotional roller coaster ride. The first week was the worst I felt like i wanted to end it all, but my hubby helped me through it. I'm still in disbelief.. Anyways yesterday I met with my doctor, pharmacist, social worker, and a nutritionist- longest appt in life..Everyone was really helpful and I'm glad I have a good support team, I was given meds and I started Truimeq-I ended up here because when I read the side effects I freaked out. I was super nervous however I did take it this morning and so far I experienced a headache and nausea, hoping it goes away soon. This is a really informative and helpful site. oh yeah yesterday my lab results were cd4-477, vl-4578- I didn't understand the viral load part at all i think I would go in and out on what the doctor was talking about, because I was just so nervous, angry, sad all at the same time. I know I will get better some days are better than others but still I have to find a way to cope..Help!!
