Driving wife's car, i hit flowerpot in the driveway

Date: May 27th, 2018 9:59 AM Author: Excitant private investor scratched up the side a little bit. She screamed at me from the passenger seat for 15 minutes as i drove to meet friends for brunch (i had thought id bring her and the kid along--because I fucking TRY to be a good husband). I kept saying Im sorry but she wouldnt stop this high pitched screaming at me while i was driving. Enraged, she also complained because her car, which i had bought for her, was "cheap."
After the brunch, when she felt good, she apologized for overreacting.
Then this morning, I asked her just in passing to take it easy on the kid, not to scream at him so much when he forgets something. Just yell at him once and let off, dont keep at it for 15 minutes. It's distressing and not good for him.
She then screamed at me for 15 minutes about how she needed to scream at him for 15 minutes at a time, and what do i know, and fine I can get the kid to do his homework, and he forgets shit for school all the time and needs screaming at, etc. I told her to take her medicine, and reminded her that i was the boss. She screamed back that I am not the boss, and you cant just say your the boss and be the boss.
Disgusted, I went upstairs and hung out w kid. Kid told me i should have told her to "take a chill pill"--thats an expression he just learned from school--and i told kid not to be too bathered when mom screams a lot at him. Just wait it out--its like a rainstorm and will pass--dont let it get your down.
Marriage. Christ.
Also, i think my neighbors feel sorry for me. I think they know about my wife and have some sympathy for me as a likable lazy guy who stinks up the culdesac w cannabis smoke w a harridan wife. |

Then the next morning we agreed to do brunch together too as the other family was visiting me city from out of town, so i felt guilty about dropping $300 the night before so i thought id bring wife and kid to said BRUNCH as i neglected them the night before.
Because that meant more people in transit, i wanted to bring wife's car, as it holds more people. Its an SUV which she made me buy. Its not cheap. she was just being a bitch.
And i loaded up the suv w my wife and kid and was leaving to go pick up the other family from their hotel when i hit the flowerpot backing out of our driveway |

Its supposed to be 35 cents but it doesnt count right. i put 35 cents in and it didnt count and said i needed to put another 5 cents in. this happens all the time and i just drive thru. thats what i did this time and it started wife up screaming again, about how it was her car and she was the one who was going to get the ticket. lol like its "her car." they are both registered to me anyway. Kid went downstairs, and no breakfast. i said hey where is it, and wife screamed up that i had to come down to get it. so i went downstairs to get it and she screamed at me about how its bad manners to take food up and eat it by the computer. But if i sat downstairs she would scream at me while i was trying to eat so the way to minimize screaming is for me to hide.
I hate when she gets like this. Really, she needs a punch in the face right now but of course we cant do what is really needed. |
