before you go, make sure you have no booze in the house and no spare money to buy any at the store (probably impossible in this day and age). you don't want to relapse, but AA can have a strong, negative effect depending on your personality. |

Date: August 7th, 2019 11:32 AM Author: Stimulating filthpig 346 days sober here. I stopped going to meetings after 6 weeks but have maintained my sobriety anyway. I keep a list of all the reasons drinking would be a bad choice for me on my phone. I look at it when I’m out and want a drink.
I urge you to go regularly for at least a few weeks. Focus less on reacting to the “proles” and focus more on how following the steps can benefit you. |
