Even Iran didn't give us a heads up, it doesn't matter because you can put C-RAMs around anything that matters, just as backup, and then play with your toys while the missiles are in Jordanian airspace. It's a lot harder to use these tactics in a place like Ukraine when you have no idea where the missiles are going to be aimed. That requires...wait for it...intelligence.
