'pacifiction' was good for an art film. iron claw was a good biopic. the wagner PMC movies are entertaining (tourist, best in hell, etc.). there was a danish film about an abrasive autist who moved to early-1900's iceland and got wrecked called 'Godland' which was interesting. argentina had a couple films like The Delinquents which were okay. mr. oizo had several films like 'mandibles' and 'smoking causes coughing' which were alright. the gaspar noe film about old people dying from dementia is a good cautionary tale about getting old and demented.
also, the french children's movie 'petite maman' is one of the better films ever directed by a woman. not quite up there with leni reifenstahl, but a nice little achievement.
and of course, the buck breaking documentary came out in 2021. |

Zac Efron and Lip Gallagher were way too short for those roles but the movie was worth watching. |
