Date: October 3rd, 2026 6:12 PM Author: Hyperactive goyim just went to my favorite local Mexican place. Was originally planning to order tacos, but Saw that nearly everyone inside was having menudo and decided to order it too. Was pretty good.
We have a similar tripe soup in Iranian cuisine and it made me wonder if the Mexicans got Menudo through North African influence via Spain. Googled it and my intuition was spot on. The North African version has garbanzo beans and paprika and the Mexican natives switched those 2 ingredient with chile and pozole/corn |
