What would make you want to see a film in theaters?

Sifting through a few scripts sent to me recently.
Horror - with a pyromani-demonic killer reemerged after 20 years - Kate Beckinsale type tries to stop him once and for all.
Modern Vampire Hommidy - think 40% Sean of the Dead, couple finds out their landlords are actually vampires, and they live in a neighbourhood where they can’t tell who is or isn’t a vamp b/c England and its ppl suck so much.

I haven’t been to a theater in over a decade and don’t have fond memories of the experience. I will probably never movie-go again in my lifetime. I hate houses with dedicated “media rooms.” I think it is one of the trashiest fads in interior design from the last 50 years. |

More generally though it's either a) movies that are largely about the spectacle (e.g. Dune), or b) will have great attention to sound detail (eg something like Lynch movies) |
