His homosexuality was brought up because it is the reason he had to get the vaccines at his prep appointment, and also probably the reason he contracted CMV. The lab evidence did establish that he had active cmv infection/viremia around the time he developed GBS. His serum test was positive, meaning cmv viral genetic material was detectable in his blood. The infectious disease specialist described the PCR level as somewhat low but still meaningful. The merits decision was originally filed in may, then reissued for public availability in september. One thing that's funny that I noticed is that he seems to have been granted the C.G. pseudonym, but the docket number still links back to a 2023 file that has his full name.
