I used to do everything in my power to discourage it.
But it is increasingly apparent that AI will annihilate all white collar work, and yes including legal work.
The only thing that will remain is some residual "reputational" opportunities based on archaic human castes. And believe it or not, normies still believe lolyers are some kind of magician/priests. This won't last forever, and may not last 30 years, and its diminishing quickly. But when they feel the stakes are high, they still want a fucking lawyer - not an AI or a paralegal with AI. They want that magic diploma on the wall.
Kid in undergrad today could come out a JD in 3-5 years and still convert some of that residual deference into income. Im not sure the same is true in most other industries
Ive gone from choosing lol school myself (lmao), to believing it was the worst possible choice, fully around back to thinking its probably the best choice

cr. and magic credentials. by way of example, my father violently avoids "communion services" led by old catholic lib women, and insists on going to a Mass celebrated by an ordained priest.
he'll drive 100 miles to get to the guy with the credential.
and as ridiculous as it is, i remain convinced there is more gas in the lawyer tank. People still largely believe

I don't disagree with your op but I think that the stronger argument in favor of your position is that lawyers will simply legally restrict AI within their own profession as needed to preserve their artificial labor cabal

i should start making over $900k next year, and that ought to last for at least 2-3 years (after which i'll make $600-650 even if my book evaporates). i am hoping to bank 1-1.5m over that time and let it grow. i assume my job (traditional labor lawyer on the management side) is going to be in serious trouble for the long term. not bc i will be replaced by AI, but because most workers are going to be eliminated, and robots can't unionize.

Litigators are getting the last laugh with AI IMO
there will always (at least for a long time) be a need for a human to represent a client in court, even if all of the paperwork done by the lawyer was done using AI

Funny thing is I realized you can press a button and make $10k on robinhood. Do whatever will fund you for the first couple of years to make enough to do this. And be Tall.

law will be last profession impacted by AI cause the kike bar associations can always limit it, like u never will have 100% AI lawyers or even AI legal advice apps that auto file court cases
so u will always have filthy kikes applying a 500 year old common law bullshit system to the modern world with papers and bullshit just cause kikes need to extract money from goy amerikkka
