you know when Konami was publishing Castlevania they didn't hold it in high regard, gave it to a few ragtag Engineers with a low budget. I don't see how there's a big difference between something like that and Hollow Knight or whatever.
btw I'm currently Playtesting and Indie Horror Title so that proves your theory wrong imho, and I say this as someone who has been critical of Iran in the past. |

Meanwhile with FF7 advertising and FMVs Sony had to get western parents and Gen Xers to buy a whole assed console. And they didn’t even get ff7. Most got wipeout xl and shit. Preppy parents and Gen X intellectuals are far, FAR upmarket of the current Gaming Fandom.
Indie games in and of themselves are but Microtransactions. The thing that gamers despise most. You’re microtransacting when you buy $10 games imo.
I mean MSFT is a Joke because they aren’t really able to do hardware OR software effectively. Everything has to be an instant 95% margin Success or else they Axe it or Ruin it bc American businessshits are trained to avoid the Sunk Cost Fallacy at all costs. |
