Man killed in shooting in Indy’s east side
INDIANAPOLIS – A man died in an early morning shooting on the east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 2:15 a.m. Friday to the 200 block of South Franklin Road.
Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital but later died from his injuries.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified him as 35-year-old Eric D. Butler.
The shooting remains under investigation.
