I enjoyed when games bled into irl such as when re-enacting Fatalities. Pretending to show my buddy his beating heart as he Dies. A triumph. Only western games got re enacted. No one tried to do zangief’s spinning pile driver irl.
As for goldeneye, it got off easy with a T rating. And it couldn’t be Modded. So when Columbine happened, no one blamed Rare. Its contribution to the undoing of the millennial generation came in the segue it provided to Xbox, which was the true successor to the western N64 |
