The art direction on this is very promising and probably one of the freshest sets of visual ideas on the market right now but Bungo has been fairly hollowed out as a studio, most of the old Halo guys that made that a multimedia gem were ousted or went off to other studios, and their monetization schemes are super jewy and irritating to deal with
The other issue I've heard is some confusion in their design choices and it seems like they're stuck between aping either Fortnite/Arc Raiders/Tarkov rather than clearing the slate and trying to make a more novel riff on the extraction shooter genre
Low baseline round investment (resource-wise)/low OR relatively high Halo ttk/high speed Quake-esque movement would probably be a winning combination. No other extraction shooter has a real movement game and most of them are afaik positioning shooters (Tarkov especially)

Which
Tarkov? I've only played a few hours of it and Arc Raiders is too Reddit-y for me, though it is undeniably popular and probably in possession of at least a couple sublime facets
Extraction shooters have a set of pretty good ideas driving them, persistent resource pools, having to manage brought resources in intermediate length rounds, high risk/reward sessions, interesting player interactions brought about by game systems and map design, forcing players to make difficult calls w/r/t opportunity costs, et al
I enjoyed one of the earliest incidences of this genre, a Tom Clancy game called "The Division" had a very novel at the time extraction game mode called "Dark Zone" or "Grey Zone" or something and it's evolved quite a bit since then

From the hardworking Prole to the affluent Banker, each fate offers unique abilities, challenges, and ways to interact with the city and its inhabitants. Your choice defines your journey:
Align with the Cortex to stabilize and protect the city.
Join the Scumbags or Zealots to spread the Rot and sow chaos.
Remain Neutral and immerse yourself in daily life, working in factories or exploring the city.
Not a good game but I do think that whatever nascent genre this might fall into could be very popular/lucrative with a little bit of polish and a clever dev team
