Blew my mixed daughter's mind over the weekend

This weekend I asked her if she knew what a dove was.
"A bird!" she said.
"What color is the bird?"
"White!"
"And what color are its wings?"
"White!"
"Just like a white winged dove sings a song sounds like she's singing 'Ooh baby ooh ooh'."
*cue confused look*
"Can you sing that with me?"
Then I taught her the melody with my shitty singing voice.
After she "learned" the melody I said, "Do you want to hear the song now?" and she nodded her head.
She was stunned when she heard Stevie belting out that melody and we listened to that song about 1000x this weekend. |
