I think most people seem to misunderstand it though. When Booker allows Elizabeth(s) to drown him he is being drowned in the reality in which he became Comstock, which means that the Booker who did not become Comstock continues to exist in millions of worlds because the Comstocks never fucked with his life. Elizabeth is the one who "died" because none of the versions of Anna that existed were taken by Comstock, which means Elizabeth never existed in the first place.

right, except that since that one Elizabeth has control over time and space and was in the probability space (like the Luteces) perhaps she survived. none of the elizabeths who drown booker have the choker/necklace you choose for her.

The Comstock strand is over throughout the multiverse. And, all the Elizabeths who do not exist in the probability space are gone as a result, because no Comstock, no Columbia, no Elizabeth. But, the Elizabeth who is surfing the probability space is playing by her own rules.

it's pretty confusing, partner.

I have mixed feelings about the game. While the studio clearly puts lots of effort into the story and environments, the gameplay is quite weak. Unlike the original bioshock where the genetic engineering back-story (ie, splicers) makes sense, the powers in this game seem pretty tacked on. The combat sequences felt like a burden, and I ended up just turning it to easy so I could just rush through to the next story-telling set. I also don't feel the bosses in Infinite were as well integrated as the Big Daddies in the original.
