Wife insisted on moving because of all the partying and old folks orgies. She couldn't sit on the patio and read without being hit on by guys coming by on the golf course. Really pissed her off. Park had nice amenities - 3 clubhouses, 2 golf courses, multiple pools, tennis courts, pool tables, zillions of clubs, etc., plus an on-site restaurant, hairdresser and masseuse. Double wides now are about $250K plus $10K/year lot rent which includes most of the amenities. Mostly "park model" trailers and double wides, but also some RV slots. Lots of $1M+ bus chassis luxury coaches. Lots of music and drinking. Lots of hookups, including rumors of spouse swaps. I myself was hit on multiple times. She avoided parties because of the come ons. One single male neighbor used to magically materialize when she went outside. The manufactured homes were small and close together so there was noise and diminished privacy. You could hear the people next door snoring at night. After about 8 seasons we moved to a real house in a more sedate neighborhood. I miss the old ruckus sometimes, but she does not.
