not flame, there's a science behind this. something about our brains processing more new information when we're younger so time feels longer, when we are old our brains run on autopilot and time goes by quick. so we are all basically 2/3 dead now.

the longer you've been alive, the smaller the proportion of your life one year is. when you're 10, 1 year is 10% of your life, when you're 50 it's 2%. so your 10th year feels 5 times longer than your 50th.
