The phrase in Deuteronomy is in a different context and so the belief is the phrase was repurposed to mean do not cook a kid in its mother's milk. |

Cheese goes on at the very end and I cover the grill for like 20 seconds just so the cheese melts. There's no point in putting cheese on the burger while you're still cooking the burger because it will just melt off and into the fire.
